The large hog was for Konrad's 40th birthday party cooked with help from Jim Minion. Our daughter still remembers finding a 160# dead pig on ice in her bath tub. We've also cooked a lot of 59# to 65# whole pigs on our Weber Ranch kettles. A friends parents who have visited Hawaii every year for the last quarter century said my pork was better than anything they had ever eaten on the islands. It was one of the compliments I'll always remember.

The Teddy Bear BBQ™ trade name was in limbo during my amicable divorce. Konrad retained ownership in the final settlement. BBQHOG.COM LLC is the corporate entity. As of January 2012 we will be back to competing as Teddy Bear's BBQ.
